Cat cousins

I spent last week with my sister and brother-in-law. They have two Norwegian Forest Cats, Ziggy and Angel.

Ziggy tries on a life vest. Jet-ski anyone?

Baby pictures

I visited friends who have two new Tonkinese kittens, Winston and Anna. It was their first day in their new home and they spent a lot of their time under furniture.

Cat tummies

Catkin, always hoping that canned food will fall from the cabinets.

Here's Chrissie, my most recently adopted cat. She is so round that the vet thought she was pregnant. When weeks went by without issue he shaved her and found a spay scar. She just has a spare tire around the middle.

Catkin and Hobbes

The border patrol, inspecting the hedge and probably looking for the Calico Next Door.

The Smallest of All. Very elegant and my Chief Rodent Control Officer. A dedicated hunter, she brings me little gifts. I will leave that to your imagination.

Nickel is Mother's Precious Treasure, also a Maine Coon cat though smaller than Hobbes. Vocal, dramatic, and very loving.

Hobbes and Beau

Hobbes is the brown tabby, a Maine Coon cat who weighs in at 23 pounds. Beau is the golden boy with the white pom pom on his tail. Their vet calls Hobbes "The Boss" and Beau "The King". There were a few battles of the Titans at first but they live together quite amicably.
